Vilibald Vuco discusses career shift after football injury

Vilibald Vuco, son of singer Siniša Vuco, has shared details regarding his transition from professional football to a career in real estate and media. After a hip injury forced him to end his football career prematurely—having played for clubs including Hajduk, Hrvatski Dragovoljac, Rudeš, and Alavés—Vuco experienced what he described as a “major identity crisis.”

Since late 2024, Vuco has worked for a real estate agency and hosts the “Big Deal” podcast, which covers business, investments, and lifestyle. He noted that while the discipline from his sports background assists him in his new role, the lack of a fixed schedule and the constant availability required by clients was a significant adjustment.

On a personal note, Vuco recently married Meriam Benmiloud in Zagreb. The couple, who became engaged on Hvar in the spring, are expecting their first child, a daughter.
