Viling Inc. to launch Blockru recreation tools for elderly care

Viling Inc. has announced the launch of ‘Blockru’, a new block-based recreation tool designed specifically for elderly care facilities. Scheduled for release on September 1, 2026, the service aims to address common challenges in senior care, such as repetitive activity programming and the heavy administrative burden on staff to plan and prepare daily recreational sessions.

The ‘Blockru’ system combines block-building activities with structured recreation. It includes two types of blocks with varying difficulty levels, along with comprehensive guides detailing objectives and procedures. The system offers over 70 different combinations of block construction and recreational activities, allowing for customized engagement that encourages physical movement, cognitive thinking, and social interaction among residents.
