Villa Adela house fire leaves family of five with total losses

A fire destroyed a home in Villa Adela, located in the Concordia department, leaving a family of five with total losses. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at a residence on Doctor Fagalde Street.

The blaze, which was reported to the Volunteer Firefighters shortly before 3:00 PM, spread rapidly through the structure, consuming the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. The fire also destroyed zinc roofing, appliances, a refrigerator, a gas cylinder, cookware, and a motorcycle. The magnitude of the fire prevented any belongings from being rescued.

Local firefighters and the Concordia Zapadores firefighters worked to combat the flames. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. In response, neighbors and acquaintances have launched a solidarity campaign to assist the family, which includes two adults and three children. Donations of building materials such as zinc sheets, wood, cables, and nails, as well as clothing and footwear, are being requested to help rebuild the home.
