Villa Altagracia community members receive technical training through tripartite alliance
A tripartite alliance between the Supérate social development program, the National Institute of Technical-Professional Training (Infotep), and the Fundación Rica has trained over 1,000 community members in Villa Altagracia.
During the 2024 and 2025 period, the Básima Community Improvement Center facilitated training for 1,086 individuals, the majority of whom (973) are women. A recent certification ceremony recognized 518 participants who completed 21 different training programs.
Courses covered various technical and professional competencies, including pharmacy, elderly care, accounting services, banking and commercial cashiering, warehouse operations, sales, advanced Excel, secretarial duties, office software, and basic English. The initiative aims to enhance local productive capacities, promote social inclusion, and provide tools for employment, entrepreneurship, and income generation to help reduce poverty in the region.
