Villa Carlos Paz Chamber of Tourism proposes new provincial law

The Villa Carlos Paz Chamber of Tourism celebrated its fifth annual tourism festival, bringing together business leaders, local authorities, and provincial officials. During the event, Chamber President Christian Metrebian emphasized the importance of maintaining the city's leadership in the national tourism market, highlighting student tourism and the presence of the Provincial University of Córdoba as key drivers.

A central focus of the gathering was the presentation of a legislative proposal to the Vice Governor of Córdoba, Myrian Prunotto. The proposed ‘Tourism Services Provision Law’ aims to strengthen the sector by recognizing tourism as a formal industry. Metrebian stated that the initiative seeks to increase the tourism sector's contribution to Córdoba's Gross Geographic Product from the current 6% to 10%.
