Villa Carlos Paz: LED screen collapses onto dancers during competition

A large LED screen collapsed onto dancers during a competition at the Teatro Acuario in Villa Carlos Paz. The incident occurred during ‘The Summit Argentina’, a dance contest featuring various groups.

The dancers involved were members of the group Imperio Bachata from Alta Gracia. As they were performing their choreography, the heavy screen detached from its structure and fell directly onto the group. Following the impact, four dancers were injured and transported to a medical center for evaluation.

Representatives from Imperio Bachata have since stated that the affected dancers are out of danger. The accident led to the immediate suspension of the competition. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that caused the screen to detach and the safety conditions of the stage structure.
