Villa Central authorities halt Consorcio Azucarero Central construction

The Villa Central Mayor's Office has ordered the immediate halt of a wall construction project being executed by the Consorcio Azucarero Central (CAC). Mayor Hamilton Nín and the Council of Vocals issued the order as a preventive measure.

The suspension will remain in effect while municipal technicians conduct technical and documentary evaluations of the terrain. Authorities are also reviewing the legal and technical documentation submitted by the consortium to ensure the project complies with all municipal regulations and requirements. The local government stated it will inform the public once the analysis is complete and a final decision is reached.
