Villa de Álvarez launches free mammography campaign

The municipality of Villa de Álvarez has initiated a mammography campaign to facilitate the early detection of breast cancer. Women from various urban neighborhoods and rural communities within the municipality are participating in the program at the Colima Diagnostic Clinic.

Mayor Tey Gutiérrez Andrade encouraged local women to utilize these free services as a preventative health measure. The initiative, organized through the Municipal DIF, is scheduled to run until December or until a target of 200 beneficiaries has been reached.
