Villa de Álvarez receives fire truck donation from Rotary Club and local businesses

The Rotary Club of Coquimatlán and a group of 20 local entrepreneurs have donated a fire truck to the Municipal Civil Protection Unit of Villa de Álvarez. The donation was presented during a ceremony commemorating National Firefighters Day.

Mayor Tey Gutiérrez Andrade expressed gratitude for the collaboration between the private sector and the government, describing the contribution as an act of support for the people of Villa de Álvarez. The event also highlighted the municipality's progress in civil protection, noting that it hosts the state's only specialized training academy for the field, which has recently graduated its second class of students.
