Villa de Álvarez roadwork reaches 95 percent completion
Infrastructure improvements and repaving at the Glorieta de los Perritos road junction in northern Villa de Álvarez have reached 95 percent completion. Mayor Tey Gutiérrez Andrade inspected the site, noting that the project aims to improve road safety by addressing surface and structural deterioration, including potholes and pavement irregularities.
The project involves an investment of 4.6 million pesos from the Municipal Social Infrastructure Contribution Fund. In addition to applying asphalt, the works include constructing lane delimiters and upgrading traffic signals to improve synchronization and visibility. The project is expected to be completed in November.
