Villa de Pozos announces FEREPO 2026 musical lineup and commercial plans

The municipal government of Villa de Pozos has announced the musical lineup and commercial plans for the 2026 Regional Fair (FEREPO). The event is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors, aiming to boost the local economy through music, gastronomy, livestock exhibitions, and cultural activities.

The musical program features various national artists, including Los Dos Carnales, Millonario, Bronco, Alacranes Musical, and Kumbia Kings. Performances are scheduled to run from September 24 through October 4, 2026.

To support the economic impact, the local Commerce Directorate plans to issue 200 temporary commercial permits. Approximately 70 percent of these permits have already been processed. Officials stated that preference will be given to local merchants and producers to ensure the economic benefits remain within the community. The administration also noted that increased regulation will be implemented to maintain order and security during the 11-day event.
