Villa de Pozos launches winter vaccination campaign

Villa de Pozos has initiated a winter vaccination campaign in coordination with the Secretariat of Health to prevent illnesses during the cold season. The campaign is scheduled to run until March.

Authorities plan to administer approximately 27,000 doses in total, including 10,000 COVID-19 vaccines, 12,000 influenza vaccines, and roughly 5,000 pneumococcal vaccines. Priority will be given to vulnerable groups, specifically children under five years old and senior citizens.

To receive a vaccine, residents must present their vaccination records. The campaign began at Plaza Las Águilas and will move through various neighborhoods according to a set schedule. Mobile units will be deployed to reach more remote areas of the municipality.
