Villa de Pozos sees major road and street upgrades

The state government, represented by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardonal, and municipal authorities inaugurated the rehabilitation of Avenida Libertad, a key corridor linking Soledad with Villa de Pozos. Presidenta Concejal Paty Aradillas said the project will ease daily travel for students, workers and families and supports the region’s economic and social development.

Meanwhile, the Villa de Pozos municipal administration reported that work on Calle 101 is 60 percent complete. The renovation includes a full replacement of the sanitary drainage system, new water‑supply infrastructure and upgraded hydraulic networks along more than one kilometre of road. Officials noted that despite recent rains, the works continue and are expected to improve mobility and safety for thousands of residents once finished.
