Villa dei Fiori launches Telemedicine Hub in Nocera Inferiore

Villa dei Fiori has opened a Casa di Telemedicina in Nocera Inferiore, expanding access to digital health services for the local population. The new facility, created under a protocol with the ASL Salerno Telemedicine and Artificial Intelligence Governance unit, offers a dedicated room equipped for specialist video consultations and other digital health procedures. Trained Telemedicine Facilitators will assist users in navigating platforms, while the centre’s social workers act as project reference points.

The service integrates with the regional ASL Salerno network and the Virtual Community Hospital, aiming to improve continuity of care and coordination across the territory. Villa dei Fiori’s director highlighted the goal of keeping digital health “at the service of the person” and ensuring no citizen is excluded from technological benefits.
