Villa d'Ogna celebrates 50th Mostra del Fungo e della Natura in August 2026

The Mostra del Fungo e della Natura in Villa d'Ogna will hold its 50th edition from 8 to 16 August 2026, marking half a century since the exhibition was launched in 1976 by micologist Mario Galli and the local Associazione Micologica Bresadola.

Mayor Luca Pendezza said the event has become a core part of the town’s identity. The week‑long programme will feature daily fresh mushroom displays, a broader biodiversity trail, artistic installations, and contributions from experts such as Adriano Beretta, Antonio Guana, Fabio Locatelli, Gabriele Gheza and historic secretary Pierino Bigoni.
