Multiple regional fires reported in Spain, Venezuela, Peru, and El Salvador
Multiple significant fires have been reported across several regions, causing property damage and requiring large-scale emergency responses.
In Palma del Río, Spain, a large fire broke out in an abandoned textile warehouse. The blaze produced a massive smoke column, prompting authorities to advise residents to stay indoors and close windows. Emergency services, including the Plan Infoca and local firefighters, were deployed to control the flames.
In Caracas, Venezuela, a fire at the Asociación Civil de Emprendedores de La Bolsa led to the preventive evacuation of approximately 300 people. The incident affected at least six commercial premises.
In Villa El Salvador, Peru, a major fire struck a recycling warehouse and scrapyard. Firefighters faced challenges due to limited water supply and narrow streets, but managed to contain the blaze to prevent it from spreading to neighboring factories.
In Mejicanos, El Salvador, a structural fire in an apartment building consumed one unit entirely and damaged another, though no casualties were reported.
