Avellaneda and Villa La Angostura advance housing projects

In Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, Mayor Magdalena Sierra and Provincial Minister of Habitat Silvina Batakis delivered 14 homes to families in Isla Maciel and Villa Tranquila. These deliveries are part of an ongoing urbanization process that includes street openings and family relocation.

To address housing shortages, the provincial government and the municipality signed an agreement under the ‘Programa Completar’. This initiative aims to finish 30 housing units at the Pinzón site in Dock Sud, which had stalled following the suspension of national funding. The province will provide the necessary funds to complete these developments.

In a separate regional development, the Municipality of Villa La Angostura and the Government of Neuquén are advancing a project in the El Pinar neighborhood. This involves an initial stage of 10 multi-family homes as part of a larger 36-unit plan under the ‘Neuquén Habita’ program, intended to resolve long-standing housing conflicts in the Macrolote 5 area.
