Villa Manganelli Biscari hosts Radice Poesia poetry event

The cultural event ‘Radice Poesia’ was held at the historic Villa Manganelli Biscari in Viagrande, featuring a large public turnout. Organized by Grazia Calanna and writer-director Vladimir Di Prima, the event showcased the work of thirty-five poets from the Etna region.

During the evening, actor Francesco Russo performed readings of various verses, including those by Antonella Sturiale. The event took place within the 18th-century villa and its Baroque park, a historic residence once owned by a prominent Catanese dynasty.

Footage from the event will be used for ‘Il Vulcano che scrive’, a docufilm produced by Filmkam regarding Mount Etna and its cultural connections.
