Villa María Air Festival concludes with aerial displays

The 2026 “Villa María Vuelve a Mirar el Cielo” Air Festival concluded after a two-day event held on October 3 and 4 at the local airport. Organized by the Municipality of Villa María, Endemur, and the Aero Club Villa María, the festival attracted large crowds from the city and surrounding region.

Key attractions included aerial acrobatics by five of the country’s top pilots, baptism flights, skydiving demonstrations, and a helicopter display featuring paratroopers from the Air Force. The event also featured a hot air balloon flight over the city and a DJ battle on Saturday night.

Osvaldo Villanueva, president of the Aero Club Villa María, noted that the event coincided with the club’s 89th anniversary. He announced plans to double the scale of the festival next year to celebrate the club’s 90th anniversary, with expectations of increased participation from the Air Force and the Army.
