Argentina implements various youth empowerment and rights programs

Various regional initiatives in Argentina are focusing on youth empowerment, rights education, and civic participation.

In Río Negro, the government has launched itinerant workshops in primary schools to teach children about their rights through interactive activities like the ‘Código 102’ escape room and promoting the SENAF Line 102 support service.

In the province of Buenos Aires, the ‘Decisión Niñez’ program held zonal assemblies in Saladillo and Florencio Varela. These democratic forums allowed children and adolescents to present community projects—ranging from music programs to blood donation awareness—with the goal of securing funding for the most popular ideas.

Additionally, in Villa María, the ‘Ahora las Infancias’ program organized educational trips to Córdoba city, including visits to the provincial legislature to foster civic engagement. In Olavarría, youth from municipal programs participated in a scientific extension day at the UNICEN university campus, engaging with health, engineering, and social science workshops to bridge academic knowledge with community needs.
