Villa María police trainees begin professional patrols

Second-year trainees from the Córdoba Police Subofficer School have begun professional practice patrols in Villa María. The group consists of 29 trainees—20 women and 9 men—who patrol in pairs through the city center and Parque de la Vida from Monday to Friday, between 15:00 and 19:00, under the supervision of an instructor.

Mayor Eduardo Accastello visited the trainees, emphasizing that the city will not negotiate social peace and aims to strengthen prevention and coexistence. The initiative is part of a broader effort to increase police presence; officials noted that these trainees will be joined by first-year officers in the coming months, potentially providing more than 70 agents to reinforce security during the summer season.
