Villa María to host 4th National Dairy Competition

Villa María will host the 4th National Cheese, Butter, and Dulce de Leche Competition of the Central Region on November 25 and 26. Held at the Córdoba Government Civic Center, the event aims to strengthen the Argentine dairy industry, improve production processes, and help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reach new markets.

The competition features 19 cheese categories, including soft, semi-hard, hard, flavored, and specialty milk varieties, alongside categories for dulce de leche and butter. A technical team of professionals from the Escuela Superior Integral de Lechería (ESIL) will oversee the evaluation to ensure objective quality assessments.

The initiative is organized by the Bioagroindustry ministries of Córdoba, Santa Fe, and Entre Ríos, in collaboration with ESIL and the Association of Small and Medium Dairy Enterprises (APYMEL). Interested companies must register by November 16. Awards will be presented on December 10 in the city of Córdoba.
