Villa Mella residents report prolonged power outages
Residents in various sectors of Villa Mella, located in Santo Domingo Norte, are reporting prolonged electricity outages lasting more than seven hours per day. The interruptions reportedly begin in the early morning and continue into the night, disrupting daily activities for families and local businesses.
Community members described the power supply as highly unstable, noting that electricity often returns only briefly before cutting out again. This instability is causing economic losses, particularly due to the spoilage of refrigerated food and potential damage to household appliances and electrical equipment. Residents have called upon authorities and the electricity distribution company to intervene and provide a stable service.
