Villa Mercedes motorcyclist released from intensive care

Cristian Gil, a 22-year-old motorcyclist, has been discharged from the hospital to continue his recovery at home following a serious accident in Villa Mercedes. Gil had been in intensive care at the Policlínico de Villa Mercedes after being struck by a Peugeot 2008 on October 4 at the intersection of Chacabuco and Pueyrredón.

According to his family, Gil is experiencing memory difficulties and struggles to recognize some relatives. He is expected to undergo medical treatment for at least three months.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision but was located by police two days later. The individual is currently being held in custody by the Provincial Penitentiary Service as the judicial process continues.
