Laguna Blanca: New judicial headquarters and 80 social homes inaugurated

In Laguna Blanca, Formosa, Governor Gildo Insfrán inaugurated the renovation and expansion of the local Justice of the Peace office. The new facility unifies the functions of the Justice of the Peace and the Intrafamily Violence Office (OVI) within a single building to streamline administrative processes and improve assistance for vulnerable families.

Alongside the judicial improvements, the provincial government delivered 80 social housing units to families in the San Blas neighborhood through the ‘Casa Propia-Construir Futuro’ program. The homes, which include adaptations for people with reduced mobility, are equipped with essential infrastructure such as potable water, electricity, and drainage systems.

While official ceremonies highlighted these advancements, the judicial expansion also sparked discussions regarding labor conditions. The President of the Superior Tribunal of Justice, Claudia María Fernández, emphasized the importance of maintaining good working environments for judicial staff to ensure effective service to the community.
