Villa Montellano initiates park renovations and community programs

In Villa Montellano, Puerto Plata, Mayor Héctor Almonte has officially commenced the renovation of Mozoví Park. The project aims to transform the public space to better serve the community, providing a renewed area for recreation and family coexistence.

Additionally, the Punta Bergantín Development Trust has extended its support to local community initiatives. This includes sponsoring the third edition of the Montellano Korre 2026 race, which saw 1,200 participants across various distances, and the seventeenth edition of the Cañaveral Awards, intended to recognize local talent and community contributors.
