Villa Paranacito, Entre Ríos advances housing and school construction projects

The Entre Ríos provincial government, through the Instituto Autárquico de Planeamiento y Vivienda (IAPV), announced a public tender to complete 50 housing units in Villa Paranacito. The stalled project will receive more than AR$3.135 billion and is slated for a 12‑month execution period. Governor Rogelio Frigerio’s decision to revive the works was highlighted by IAPV president Manuel Schönhals, who said the province is turning idle works into concrete solutions for families.

In a separate tender, the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure launched a bid to finish the UENI Sonrisas de Sol early‑childhood school building in the same town. With a budget of AR$492 million and a 210‑day timeline, the new facility will serve over 80 children. Minister Hernán Jacob described the project as long‑awaited by the community and essential for providing a safe, dedicated learning environment.

Both initiatives aim to improve living standards and educational opportunities in Villa Paranacito, reflecting the provincial administration’s focus on reviving stalled public‑works projects.
