Milan pharmacy robber arrested after tattoo identification

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Milan following a series of pharmacy robberies and attempted thefts in August. The arrest was executed by the Mecenate Police Commissariat following an order from the Milan Prosecutor's Office.

The first incident occurred on August 3 at a pharmacy in Corso Porta Romana. Investigators state the suspect grabbed a pharmacist by the arm, dragged her behind the counter, and threatened her with a screwdriver to steal 200 euros in cash.

A second attempt took place on August 5 at a pharmacy in Via del Liri. The suspect, wearing a surgical mask and using a 20-centimeter screwdriver, attempted to force the entrance. The robbery failed because the pharmacy director successfully blocked the opening system. During his flight, the suspect abandoned a screwdriver and a t-shirt used to hide a hand tattoo, which ultimately aided his identification.
