Villa Tasca residents demand urgent cleaning of neglected underpass

Residents of the Villa Tasca neighborhood are calling for urgent action regarding the deteriorating state of the pedestrian underpass on via Santissima Mediatrice. Local councilor Mirko Dentici has reported that the passage has become a site of neglect, filled with waste and debris, posing risks to hygiene and public safety.

While extraordinary sanitation and waste removal efforts were conducted in 2023 and 2024, residents and officials argue that these one-off interventions are insufficient. Dentici has formally requested that municipal companies Reset and Rap, in coordination with the Environment Department, establish a stable and recurring schedule for cleaning and maintenance to restore the area's decorum.
