Villa Urquiza – Paraná International Marathon prepares for 17th edition

The 17th edition of the Villa Urquiza – Paraná International Marathon is scheduled to take place on December 12. This open water swimming competition features a traditional 21-kilometer course starting from the Virgen del Camino Costero in Villa Urquiza and finishing at the Municipal Beach of Paraná.

Organized by the Asociación Civil Barrancas del Paraná, the event is considered a significant aquatic marathon in the Entre Ríos region. Andrés Solioz, president of the organization, noted that preparations are underway regarding logistics, security, medical controls, and river coordination. The event is expected to attract competitors from various countries and serves as both a sporting competition and a regional tourism attraction.
