Villa Verdi receives over 6 million euros for restoration

The Italian Ministry of Culture has approved over 6.5 million euros for the restoration of Villa Verdi. This funding, supported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, aims to renovate both the interior of the villa and its 60,000-square-meter park.

Giampietro Comolli, president of the committee dedicated to the composer, noted the historical importance of the site, where Giuseppe Verdi lived for 51 years. The project is expected to revitalize the area and potentially integrate it into a cultural and historical circuit connecting Piacenza and Busseto.
