Ben Bayer wins FIS Cup ski jumping in Villach

The FIS Cup ski jumping competitions held at the Villacher Alpenarena in Villach, Austria, featured 81 athletes from 15 different nations. The event included individual competitions on a normal hill (HS98).

On the final day of competition, Germany's Ben Bayer secured victory with jumps of 96 m and 97.5 m, finishing ahead of Austrian twins Jakob and Simon Steinberger. Polish athlete Tymoteusz Amilkiewicz achieved an eighth-place finish. Other notable performers included Francesco Cecon, who led the first series with a 98 m jump, and Adam Niżnik, who placed sixth in the first series.

While the first series faced multiple interruptions due to unfavorable wind conditions, the event showcased a diverse international field including representatives from Austria, Poland, Germany, Italy, Finland, and the Netherlands, the latter marking a return to competition after nearly a decade.
