Villafranca de los Barros resident sues to recover rental property

A resident of Villafranca de los Barros, identified as D. D. R., has been attempting for approximately one year to recover a rental property he owns in order to occupy it himself. Although the tenant is reportedly up to date with rent payments, the owner states that the tenant has refused to vacate despite various attempts to reach an agreement.

The owner claims to have offered several solutions to facilitate the move, including locating similar properties in the same building and offering free moving services, but these offers were rejected. Having been unable to communicate effectively with the tenant, the owner has filed a lawsuit in the Villafranca de los Barros courts and reported the matter to the Guardia Civil.

As part of his protest, the owner has organized a peaceful demonstration scheduled for Friday, September 18.
