Villager uses mosque loudspeaker to alert community to fire in Isparta

In the Taşevi village of Yalvaç, Isparta, a resident used a mosque loudspeaker to alert the community to a fire at a neighbor's house. Mustafa Arslan noticed smoke rising from the barn beneath Hurşit Çimen's home and immediately ran to the village mosque to make an announcement calling for help.

Villagers responded quickly using tractors and water tanks to combat the flames. Their rapid intervention prevented the fire from spreading to the upper floor of the house. While the Yalvaç fire department arrived to perform cooling operations, the villagers had already brought the blaze under control. No injuries were reported, and local gendarmerie have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
