Villalbilla Residents Return Home After Emergency Evacuations

The mayor of Villalbilla thanked fire‑fighters, forest agents, the Guardia Civil, Civil Protection, local police, health services and neighboring municipalities for their coordinated response that contained a recent emergency and allowed displaced residents to begin returning to their homes.

He highlighted ongoing investments such as the new Safety Center for emergency coordination, an expanded hydrant network, regular brush‑clearing and preventive maintenance aimed at reducing fire risk. The mayor also urged citizens to exercise extreme caution with barbecues, ash disposal, and any equipment that could generate sparks during the current period of high temperatures and heightened fire danger.
