Villanova University athletics schedule key soccer and football matchups

Villanova University athletics face a busy week of competition across soccer and football. The men's soccer team, currently ranked No. 25 and unbeaten with a 4-0-2 record, will conclude its nonconference schedule. The Wildcats host Delaware on Thursday and Princeton on Sunday at the Higgins Soccer Complex. Villanova enters these matches with a notable defensive record, being one of only two teams in the nation to have not yet conceded a goal.

On the football field, the Villanova Wildcats (1-2) are scheduled to travel to Brookville, New York, to face Long Island University (0-3) on Saturday, September 19. Villanova holds a 3-0 all-time series lead against the Sharks and will look to improve their season record following a recent loss to Louisville.
