Villanueva del Ariscal hosts inaugural Vendimia Festival

Villanueva del Ariscal hosted the first Vendimia Festival at the Bodegas Góngora facilities, bringing together producers, professionals, and representatives from the Sevillian wine sector.

Organized by the Diputación de Sevilla through Prodetur, the event aimed to promote wine culture, enotourism, and local agro-food products. Officials, including Prodetur Vice President Rodrigo Rodríguez Hans and the Mayor of Villanueva del Ariscal, Santiago Limón, attended the gathering. The initiative seeks to position the province as a national and international enotourism destination while fostering commercial connections between producers and industry agents.

Rodriguez Hans emphasized the potential of wine as a tourist attraction, noting that winery visits can serve as comprehensive experiences that encourage visitors to explore the wider province beyond the capital city.
