Villardiegua de la Ribera opens ‘La Finiestra’ viewpoint in Arribes del Duero

The Arribes del Duero Natural Park has introduced a new tourist attraction, the ‘La Finiestra’ walkway-viewpoint, located in Villardiegua de la Ribera, Zamora. The infrastructure is part of the Duero Tourism Sustainability Plan, which aims to promote active tourism and sustainable rural development in the region.

The structure features a 9.3-meter platform overlooking the Duero River and the Peñas Blancas, along with a 13.5-meter cantilevered walkway suspended over the riverbed. Built with steel beams, resin-anchored concrete foundations, and pine wood flooring, the installation provides visitors with elevated views of the river and the surrounding geological landscape. The project was recently visited by local officials, including the acting president of the Diputación de Zamora, Víctor López.
