Villarreal CF and Paysandu announce stadium reopening and renovations

Villarreal CF has announced the reopening of the Estádio de la Cerámica following structural modernization works. The Spanish club will host Deportivo this Saturday for a fourth-round La Liga match, marking their return to home ground after playing their first three matches of the season away. The renovation phase included the installation of a new pitch, remodeled entrances, and improved security and circulation corridors to enhance fan flow.

In Brazil, Paysandu plans to begin a complete renovation of the Curuzu stadium pitch after October 25. The timing is set to avoid conflict with the Série C final, which is scheduled for late October. During this period, the professional team will play its home matches at the Mangueirão stadium to accommodate larger crowds and better facilities, while Curuzu will remain in use for training and youth category matches.
