Villarreal coach defends goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi

Villarreal manager Ínigo Pérez has defended goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi following criticism from the Spanish media after the team's Champions League match against Liverpool. Despite conceding four goals in a 4-3 defeat at Anfield, Pérez stated that the responsibility for the loss lies with the entire team rather than a single player.

Gulácsi, who made three saves during the match, has recently faced personal challenges, including being the victim of an armed robbery at his home in Spain one week prior to the game. Villarreal is now preparing for a La Liga fixture against Valencia.

Separately, the Spanish league prepares for El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Barcelona currently leads the league with a perfect record, while Real Madrid trails by six points.
