Villarta de San Juan school implements solar and aerothermal climate system
The CEIP ‘Nuestra Señora de la Paz’ school in Villarta de San Juan has implemented an innovative climatization system designed to improve student comfort while reducing energy consumption. The installation combines two 46-kilowatt aerothermal systems with a 30-kilowatt photovoltaic installation, allowing the facility to utilize solar energy production during school hours.
José Manuel Caballero, the second Vice President of the Castilla-La Mancha Government, visited the site alongside Mayor Irene Ruiz and school director Carmen Dolores Fernández De Mera Huet. The system features the ability to regulate temperatures individually for each classroom based on specific needs. Officials noted that the project aims to create more sustainable and comfortable educational spaces while teaching students the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
