Elda and Quito implement new local community and infrastructure projects

The Elda Town Council has launched a new program of free activities for youth aged 14 to 30. Starting in September, the Civic and Youth Centre will host a Valencian Conversation Workshop to improve oral skills, a Youth Leisure Club focused on teamwork, and a Youth Theatre Workshop to promote creativity and personal development.

In Quito, road rehabilitation works on Avenida Galo Plaza Lasso have reached the Ponceano sector. The project, which aims to improve road durability with concrete paving, will affect approximately 100,000 residents across 26 neighborhoods. For the next three months, drivers will encounter a contraflow system on the north-south roadway, and public transport routes will be diverted through alternative streets such as Avenida 6 de Diciembre and Avenida Eloy Alfaro.
