Villorba Corse secures Lamborghini victory at Hockenheim

Scuderia Villorba Corse secured Lamborghini’s first victory of the season in the International GT Open at the Hockenheimring in Germany. The winning crew, consisting of GT3 Junior drivers Leonardo Moncini and Rodrigo Testa, drove the number 63 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2.

Moncini secured pole position during qualifying with a time of 1’37”189. In the first 70-minute race on Saturday, Moncini maintained the lead despite a safety car intervention, eventually handing over the car to Testa during the pit stops. Testa maintained a strong pace to finish the race with a margin of 13.196 seconds over the competition.

This victory marks Lamborghini’s first win in this series since 2024 and moves the Villorba Corse crew up to sixth place in the overall championship standings.
