Vilnius residential real estate sales decline in October
New data indicates a slowdown in the Vilnius residential real estate market. In October, the number of new buyers fell by 28 percent compared to September, with 301 apartments sold, down from 417 in the previous month. Compared to October of the previous year, sales decreased by 36 percent.
Market analysts suggest that increased housing supply, uncertainty regarding interest rates, and geopolitical instability are contributing to buyer caution. While economic class apartment sales grew by 23 percent month-over-month, sales in the middle class segment dropped by nearly 60 percent compared to September.
In contrast, the prestige class segment remained relatively stable, with 21 apartments sold in October compared to 22 in September.
