Vilnius University hosts European higher education forum

Vilnius University is hosting the 48th annual European Association for Higher Education Research (EAIR) forum from August 26–28. The conference focuses on the theme of strengthening trust between higher education institutions and society.

Organized by the Center for Education Policy within the Institute of Educational Sciences, the event aims to address how universities can adapt to a changing world shaped by geopolitical tensions, technological advancements, and shifting perceptions of truth. The forum serves as a platform for over one hundred international researchers, university administrators, and policymakers to discuss academic management, science policy, and the evolving role of knowledge in society.
