Viltrox expands Air-Series prime lenses to L-Mount

Viltrox has expanded its Air-Series of lightweight autofocus prime lenses to the L-Mount, making them available for users of Panasonic, Leica, and Sigma camera systems. Following their initial release for Sony E and Nikon Z mounts, these lenses are designed for portability and affordability.

The lineup includes four specific models:

• AF 14mm f/4: An ultra-wide-angle lens weighing 172g, suitable for landscapes and vlogging. • AF 20mm f/2.8: The lightest model at 159g, designed for landscapes and low-light video. • AF 40mm f/2.5: A compact option weighing 169g. • AF 50mm f/2: A standard focal length lens weighing 205g, ideal for street photography and portraits.

All lenses feature STM stepping motors for quiet autofocus during photo and video capture. They include weather-resistant coatings on the front element and support firmware updates via a USB-C port. Prices for the series range from 189 to 229 Euros.
