Vimmerby Hockey concluded their preseason with a 6-2 victory against IK Oskarshamn. The win serves as a significant indicator of the team's offensive potential ahead of their Hockeyallsvenskan season premiere in nine days.

Goals were scored by Anton Carlsson, Johan Mörnsjö, Ludvig Andersson, and Hannes Hellberg, with Carlsson and Mörnsjö each netting two goals. Hannes Hellberg also contributed an assist during the match.

Coach Eric Karlsson noted that while the team showed potential and played effectively in the first and third periods, there is still work to be done regarding consistency. He highlighted the need to maintain a steady level, particularly to avoid the lapses seen in previous matches, such as a 9-2 loss to Nybro. Karlsson emphasized that finding a consistent level is the primary challenge for the squad, which features many young players.
