Vin Diesel announces filming start for Fast Forever

During a 25th-anniversary screening of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ in Los Angeles, Vin Diesel provided major updates regarding the franchise's final installment, titled ‘Fast Forever’. Diesel announced that filming is scheduled to begin in December, contingent upon studio requirements.

The actor revealed that the project underwent four years of development and involved four different writing teams to ensure a worthy conclusion to the series. Diesel shared that the final script was deeply emotional, noting that he was moved to tears by the story.

Fast Forever’ is intended to be the 11th and final mainline film in the saga, which has grossed over $7.3 billion worldwide. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release on March 17, 2028. The anniversary event also served as a reunion for original cast members and a tribute to the late Paul Walker.
