Vin Diesel Announces Production of Final “Fast & Furious” Film

Vin Diesel posted behind‑the‑scenes footage on Instagram confirming that production has officially begun on “Fast Forever,” the 11th and final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. He thanked fans for their patience, saying, “You’re the best audience in the world,” and noted that crews have been “grinding” for the past three and a half years to deliver an “amazing finale.”

The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 17 March 2028. Directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Michael Lesslie, the movie will see Diesel reprise Dominic Toretto alongside returning cast members such as Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez. The franchise, which debuted in 2001, has generated more than $7 billion at the global box office and is described as the longest‑running and highest‑grossing series from Universal Pictures.
