Vin Diesel Announces Production of Fast & Furious Finale “Fast Forever”

Vin Diesel posted a behind‑the‑scenes video on Instagram confirming that filming has begun on “Fast Forever,” the eleventh and final instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise. The clip shows Diesel in a garage set, with a 1970 Dodge Charger visible, and he thanks fans, saying, “You are the best audience in the world” and that “people are grinding, incredible crews are working.” The movie is slated for worldwide release on 17 March 2028.

The sequel follows years of budget disputes and script rewrites after Fast X. Director Louis Leterrier is expected to return, and the cast is likely to include long‑time series stars such as Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Sung Kang and possibly Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot. Universal Pictures is also developing multiple Fast & Furious TV series for Peacock. The production marks the conclusion of a franchise that has earned over $7 billion worldwide since its 2001 debut.
